====== Placing an iPad Warranty Claim ======

If your iPad has stopped working and this is not as a result of an accident, then you can file a warranty claim. 
<WRAP important> All warranty claims must be logged no later than 14 days from the issue occurring.  Any claims made after this period will not be honoured.</WRAP>

====== If your iPad was purchased during October 2023 via the school scheme with Edutech: ======
   

Visit https://edutech.zone/parent_enquiries/ and fill in the form. A member of the EduTech team will be in touch to arrange the claim.

Please ensure you have [[public:preparethedevice|prepared the device]] for warranty repair.
  
====== If your iPad was purchased prior to October 2023 then: ======
  * Have the serial number of the device ready. You can find this by looking on the back of the device itself, or by going to Settings -> General -> About -> Serial number
  * Navigate to [[https://whs.store.academia.co.uk/claims/|https://whs.store.academia.co.uk/claims/]]
  * Select the **Warranty Claims** button
  * Complete the details requested

Academia should contact you to give further details about how and when the device will be collected. Please ensure you have [[public:preparethedevice|prepared the device]] for warranty repair.
